This is a blog devised by myself and my seedy partner in crime Pawd. We and some other selected contributors will try to put our hopefully interesting thoughts on the Australian sports scene out there. Many of these thoughts will be cynical and sometimes ridiculous but we think there is a place for an Australian sports blog that will have a candid shot at whats happening. The newspapers are always trotting out the same old shit so why not try something new.
The birth of this came soon after the disasterous Manly Season 2009 launch so we decided to name the blog after the original rugby league alcohol atrocity. (and still it's greatest "what the fuck was he thinking?" moment if you ask me) Ironically, both the idea and the name came about while Pawd and I were out on the booze ourselves. We will try to post something most days, usually about whats in the sports pages but not necessarilt without going off topic every now and then. We hope you enjoy.
