Reading today's telegraph you would be forgiven for thinking it was Monday morning 5th October. Every page is just about dedicated to The Eels, yet correct me if I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure the game is still some 4 days away. Has anyone heard who they are playing? Is it The Storm??
It seems these idiotic supporters have learnt absolutely NOTHING since 2001 (The Greatest Overall Grand Final Choke in Modern League History). And where have all these supposed 'fans' been hiding all these years?? Easily the most painful fans in the comp. I don't include Souths fans because they are simply not human
I have refused to read the papers the last few weeks because of the ridiculous coverage Parra are getting. It is as if they are the only team in the NRL. Yes, their fans are terrible band wagon followers who you don't hear boo out of until things turn around. I have had 2 people I havent heard from all year give me text messages the last 2 weeks when Parra won their semi's, GET FUCKED! Until you can support your team through thick and thin you can stick your late season texts up your ass. I am sure I am not the only person in this situation.
ReplyDeleteThe 2001 "Choke" was one of the greatest as they also thought they just had to turn up to win and they were smashed (not on the scoreboard but in reality). Becuase of the above I am going to have to go for the Storm to shut these clowns up.
I hate the Telegraph. I will not buy it I only read the SMH even though up until a few weeks back they have finally put the sport as an easy to read lift out.
ReplyDeleteI have a season ticket to Parra stadium with my best mate who is a mad Parramatta fan. I just go along to watch the footy and have a few beers I hate Parra. However I totally agree, where have these fans been? During the low of Parramttas season there was a home game Vs Cronulla which the Sharks won 13-8 and there were less than 4,000 fans at the game.
When the Eels played my team the Titans 2 weeks back I got heckeled the whole way into the ground and the whole way out by Parra fans carrying on like wankers and the question I posed to them was where were you in Round 13 when Parra were getting beat? 30,000 of them were missing that night at Parra stadium!
I hope they win for my mate because he has been to every home game for the past 15 years. However all these other bandwagon fans can suck my left nut and I hope Melbourne towell them because I want to heckle the fuck out of them and hopefully get in a blew.
