Have the Titans lost their minds?

For a club that is said to have a no dickheads policy the Gold Coast Titans have signed one of the biggest dickheads in rugby league or even Australia. Greg Bird is a grub, a liar and a poor human being overall. Anyone who glasses a woman is a deadshit and deserves to be locked up. Instead Bird and his lawyers get him off the charge by making his bimbo missus change her story. For the Titans to jump at the chance to sign Bird astonishes me. They may have their sights set on winning the competitiion, which Bird will undoubtably help the with, but at what cost to your club and fans. If I was a Titans fan I would be furious at this signing. It is only a matter of time until his very minute mind explodes again and lets himself and the Titans down.

    The Gold Coast were everyone's second team. Now the fans will be wishing The dreaded Spoon upon them for what is an atrocious 'immoral' signing.

    I have supported the Titans since day dot. I totally agree that the signing is dumb and has gone against everything that the club has prided themselves on since their inception 3 years ago.

    Im not going to try and defend them, but there are some upsides to the signing and lets face it as a fan I have to look at them because nothing is going to change the fact he will be playing for us next season. 1 - We got him cheap and he can play a little, Bird has represented NSW and Australia, Im still not sure he deserved those jerseys. 2 - There are no other good reasons.

    I may be throwing up a conspiracy theory, but I cant help but think Ricky Stuart had alot to do with this. He would have pushed Birds wagon to Carty and with the Stuart / Cartwright relationship stemming back to the Roosters days in 02,03,04,05 I cant help but think Carty has trusted Stuart and gone with him.

    Its also going to create alot of pressure we didnt need, fans will boo us and people will hate the Titans like you say Pawd. Its sad, but you just roll with the punches. Hopefully he does something stupid and we punt him before the season starts.

    I'm predicting you won't see him play a game Boxhead. Greg Bird, his crazeeeee mrs and the Gold Coast nightlife can only end one way - POORLY.

    He will then be sacked accordingly, hopefully locked up for whatever he did, as he has previously and currently deserves, and The Titans will go back to their proven 'No Dickheads Formula' that proved so popular beforehand. GOOD LUCK with this GRUB. He may win you a comp, but he may also be the demise of your entire club.....

    Roscoe no need to go all Al Gore doom and gloom. Hopefully he does something dumb and doesnt play a game your right on that one. All we need now at the Titans is to sign Dennis Fitzgerald and Brett Finch and we will definately win the comp.
