Surely this is what Shane Watson will be reduced to after his latest injury. Yet again the great white joke of Australian cricket "broke down" after another hamstring injury. This has to be almost his last chance and he should surely be put out to pasture. He is the modern day Bruce Reid and has spent more time on the sidelines than any player I can think of. The selectors for some reason want to stick by him when for the last 10 years they should have been putting their efforts into finding other non injury plagued talented players instead of wasting their time stroking his big ego and waiting for him to become great when he clearly can't be. Players like Brad Hodge, Marcus North, Michael Dighton etc must be peed off when they cant get a start because of this grub (They do get a game here and there but not enough as they should have). So surely, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, time to do the humane thing selectors. Merv or Boonie need to bring out the green blanket whilst the other unloads a shotgun at Watson and puts him out of his misery.
GOLD comedy PAWD! Maybe the common link is Lee Furlong who also dated league's own version of 'Mr Plasticine Man' Ben Ross a few years back. Wonder if she's ever had an affair with Trent Barrett or Jason ryles in the past also...
ReplyDeletethe biggest problem here is the selectors obsession with finding an allrounder. all true allrounders are good enough at either bowling or batting to get picked for that alone- watson is good enough at neither. you dont pick guys can that do a bit of everything- thats what the kiwis and poms do and its why they're always rubbish. Forget the allrounder unless you find a good one- especially when our keepers are generally top notch batsmen.
