Country (1.98) over City- because they always seem to care more.
Knights (-4) over Titans- The Knights have one of the better home fields in the league and seem to be rounding into form, whereas the Titans look like they're going the other way.
Australia (-13.5) over NZ- These tests always fall into one of two categories- Aussies play terribly and lose narrowly, or they play well and win by plenty. In the second scenario, 13 isn't enough.
Super 14 value bet- Reds paying 8.50 over the Crusaders. The Crusaders just lost to the Sharks FFS. Therefore no-one should be paying $8.50 against them, especially when the Reds just won one in NZ
Sharks(-4.5) over Tahs- Because the Tahs are f%cking rubbish. I tipped them for the comp and now I am openly bitter.
Brisbane Lions (scratch) over Richmond- Richmond are 1-5, Brisbane are 3-3- so why exactly is this an even bet?

After my $28.50 multi last weekend (Dogs 1-12,Dragons 1-12, Swans by less than 39.5 and St Kilda by less than 39.5). Im going to attempt to win more money this weekend. 5 leg multi this will pay around $9: Australia win by 6.5 or more, Dragons head to head, Storm -4.5 margin, Geelong head to head, Broncos by 6.5 or more. Should pay around $9.50. Have a lazy lobster on it and it can supply the amber ale for the weekend.

ReplyDeleteCheers Deevs, I agree this blog will speak more sense than the bullshit we read in the papers. For any big punters who are looking for a double up this weekend, I'd be taking the under 38.5 total match points in the City Vs Country Origin game. The last 3 encounters have been below 30 points. I cant see that trend changing with the short preperation and lack of combinations in the teams along with the interchanges in key positions throughout the game.
